As I am from Argentina myself I feel I should recommend the food from my home to everyone! So I recommend Meet Restaurant where you can enjoy the taste of Argentinian cuisine and authentic Argentinian Steak - heaven! Yamila Laius - Admissions Assistant
Meet has now been added to our LILA* Recommends map - see it here!
I recommend a restaurant who started as a Takeaway back in 1991 (I think!) KIMO’s. Kimos Restaurant is a very nice Arabic/Middle Eastern style or some may say exotic restaurant. You can get lots of different type of delicious and fresh food. If you want to eat a big meal or a small snack, at Kimos you will get it. Don’t forget to order hummus as a side dish (Its DEeLICIOUSssss!!!!!). Ohhh for our Muslim friends, good news it’s HALAL!! Faisal Khalil, LILA* Accommodation Officer
You can find Kimos on our LILA* Recommends Map here, enjoy!
This week, from Stacey McGee our Admin assistant on reception :)
Resurrection: One of my favourite shops is Resurrection on Bold Street because it’s a little bit like a boutique so you can get things that nobody else will have for a good price
Find it on our GoogleMap here
Delifonseca: My favourite restaurant in Liverpool. Cosy size with beautiful food and excellent service. I recommend the fishcakes!

The Duchess of Cambridge visits Liverpool for Valentines Day
Every Sunday I try to go for a walk and yesterday I went for a wander in Sefton Park after my breakfast down on Lark Lane. I happened to stumble across the Liverpool Guitar Society doing a concert in the Palm House. It was a beautiful few hours of classical guitar music and a wonderful surprise!
